If you are new in the area and would like to join the practice, you can join by simply asking at the reception. It would help to have your own medical card but it is not necessary. You will be given forms to fill in and sign as well as information on the practice. The medical records from your previous GP will follow in due course.
With effect from April 2011, in line with many other walks of life and service providers, the Practice is introducing, in accordance with NHS guidelines, checks to confirm the identity of individuals and their residential status.
A new patient will be required to provide documentary evidence e.g. passport, photo driving licence or similar, together with confirmation of their residential status e.g. a utility bill.
The details will be retained with the Medical Records as confirmation of entitlement to NHS Primary Care Services.
The Receptionists will be happy to give guidance if any assistance is required.
Directions To The Practice
We are located in Corse.
From Gloucester access the A417 towards Ledbury
Go through Hartpury village and past the BP Garage
After about a mile you will come to a sign “Corse and Staunton – welcome to the village”. Keep straight on. The speed limit will reduce to 40mph, then 30mph.
When the speed limit reduces to 30mph look out for the sign “Doctors’ surgery” on the left hand side of the road. Turn right at the sign and we are down the drive marked with two small white posts.
If you get to the school or mini roundabout in the village you have gone too far.
