Make Appointments – routine and urgent
Please telephone the appointment line on 01452 840228 and select option 1 (open 08:30-12:30 and 13:30-17:00 Monday to Friday). If your appointment is routine we recommend that you telephone after 09:30.
Please arrive in good time for your appointment (at least 5 minutes before your appointment time) – if you are late the doctor or nurse may not be able to see you.
For urgent appointments it is always helpful if you advise the receptionist of the nature of your consultation.
Extended Appointment Times
From October 2017 the Tewkesbury, Newent & Staunton locality which consists of the following practices:
Staunton & Corse Surgery
Mythe Medical Practice (Tewkesbury)
Church Street Practice (Tewkesbury)
will be piloting a new scheme offering patients seven day access to routine GP and Practice Nurse appointments.
Staunton & Corse will cease to offer the early morning appointments that were available each Tuesday and Thursday between 6:00am and 8:00am but will be offering appointments Monday and Wednesday 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
These appointments need to be pre-booked; this is not a walk in service.
To provide the highest quality of care under this pilot the Practices have entered into a Data Sharing Agreement which ensures confidentiality and information governance. This means that your personal medical information will only be available to the consulting clinician and will automatically be recorded in your own medical records if you are registered at another practice in the locality.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you cannot attend, please contact us as soon as possible so that your appointment can be re-allocated.

You may also send a text to: 07727 919796 giving your name, appointment time and date and who your appointment is with. Please note that this mobile does not accept incoming calls.
Automated Check-In Facility
You can check in for your appointment without going to the reception hatch. The process is very simple – the screen asks for the following information:

Day & Month of Birth
The system matches your details to an appointment and asks you to confirm. Once you have confirmed sit down and wait to be called.
