Coming and Going
We bade farewell to Dr Nick Hall who has been our Registrar for a year – it doesn’t seem 5 minutes since he joined us – we wish him well in his career as a GP – and we welcome Dr Ranulf Crooke who will be our Registrar doctor until August 2012.
Staunton & Corse Surgery - 2011/12 Christmas & New Year arrangements
The Surgery will be closed on the following days:
Saturday 24th December – Tuesday 27th December 2011 inclusive
Saturday 31st December to Monday 2nd January 2012 inclusive

Extended Appointment Times
We are pleased to advise that, on an experimental basis, there will be some limited availability of appointment times outside normal surgery hours, in particular to assist working patients. The appointments are prior to 0800 on a Monday and Friday only.
Please ask for details when booking an appointment if you consider that such an appointment would be appropriate to your needs - appointments can be booked in advance. Please allow a minimum of 48 hours (working days). Thank you.

The service has been reviewed in 2011 and extended for a further period. Please make use of this service if appropriate. The options can be discussed with the receptionist when making your appointment.
Summary Care Records
The Summary Care Record Project - this project led by NHS Connecting for Health covers the sharing of clinical patient information with other Healthcare providers, for example Out of Hours, Hospital A&E Departments.

Practice Training Sessions 2012
Dates for 2012 will be made available early in the New Year.
Security of patients & staff @ the surgery
The Practice has introduced a security lock on the door connecting the Waiting Room and the Consulting and Treatment areas.
Entering these areas may be restricted at times for the security of patients and staff alike.
When you leave the doctors and nurses area look out for the "Press to Exit" button on the left hand side of the door leading into the Waiting Room.
